Where Your Money Goes

For every $1 you give us, we spend 88 cents to make a positive difference in the life of the less privileged. 11 cents goes to raise the next $1, and 1 cent goes on governance and other costs.

You too can create positive social change. Together we can influence change and make life better for the marginalized and disadvantaged.

We are searching for agents of change – people who can make tremendous differences in their communities.

To give a better life and future to disadvantaged youth, women and children by availing them with the opportunities and tools to attain sustainable human development.

PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT

An estimated 8 million tonnes of plastics is released  yearly into the ocean leading to degradation of marine habitat which eventually affects aquatic animals and eventually cause poverty and harm to millions of people.

Only 4% of plastic waste is recycled in Africa. Lagos, Nigeria is at the heart of Africa's plastic waste problem. Save Our Needy initiates projects such as "Plastics for Change" which leads to the sustainable management of plastics waste. We take community action for waste management which involves collection, sorting, recycling and developing innovative ideas for the reduction of plastic waste in Lagos, Nigeria. Our ideas and solutions create employment for mostly unemployed women and youths, and promote environmental sanitation.

Girls are trained to be leaders and entrepreneurs at our teenage workshops.
