Children are the most visible victims of under nutrition. Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year. Under nutrition magnifies the effect of every disease, including measles and malaria. Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 10.9 million child deaths each year.
VOLUNTEER
We are searching for agents of change; people who can make tremendous differences in their communities.
We need mentors who can influence the lives of young people who have lost all hope of ever succeeding and help contribute to transforming their lives.
Education is crucial for the empowerment and emancipation of children, and the realization of all other human rights. It is not only essential for a strong economy; it fosters critical thinking skills which is essential for effective leaders and democracy. Education is a human right, enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
